[Free Event] Period Poverty: What Is It and Why Does It Matter?

Come join the Universalist Unitarian Fellowship of the Emerald Coast at their church service on Sunday, January 11, 2026 at 10am to learn all about period poverty. This will be a powerful, eye-opening presentation led by Samantha Sanabria, founder of Emerald Coast Period Pantry. Through personal storytelling, real-world data, and community impact, Samantha explores what period poverty is, how it affects menstruators of all ages, and why access to menstrual products is a matter of dignity and equity. This talk challenges stigma, sparks honest conversation, and offers practical ways audiences can help create change locally and beyond.
