Free Period Products.
PERIOD.
Emerald Coast Period Pantry aims to address period poverty through community support and established period pantries along the Emerald Coast.
What's a
Period Pantry?
A period pantry is a box, locker, or cabinet with free period products. Anyone is free to take or leave menstrual products in the pantry. We are incredibly grateful to Tampa Period Pantry(opens in new tab) for this idea.
Of the 4.4 million women aged 12-44 that live in Florida, 1 in 7 live below the Federal Poverty Line(opens in new tab).
Almost 60% of families living in poverty in Florida(opens in new tab) struggle with bills and unexpected expenses.
Period poverty is the lack of access to menstrual products, education, sanitation, and dignity.
